Sally Naylor

Dietitian BSc (Hons) RD

I qualified as a Dietitian in 1987 from Kings College London. I work both as an NHS Specialist Dietitian at Bedford Hospital, where I have worked since 2003 and as a freelance dietitian in private practice. My NHS work is Consultant and GP referrals in Gastroenterology.


I work as the Dietitian for patients undergoing Bariatric Surgery with 2 upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons in Cambridge. I partake in the Bariatric Support Group Meetings.


I have 16 years experience as working as a Dietitian in GP practices, in Cambridge, Bedford and Sandy.  I am Counter Weight trained to deliver evidence based primary care weight management programmes. I have undertaken training in Behaviour Change, both Motivational Approaches and Advanced Behaviour Change Skills. I am FODMAP trained.


I have run Clinical Trials in Gastroenterology at Addenbrookes Hospital.


I am a member of the British Dietetic Association, Member of the Gastroenterology Specialist Group of the British Dietetic Association and a Member of Coeliac UK.


In my spare time I enjoy trying to keep fit with cycling, swimming, tennis, walking, going to the gym. I enjoy ski ing, cooking and travel.
